Ben Wheeler's 4th of July Celebration was sponsored by
the Ben Wheeler Development Company. This company
is working to bring back pride in this great old East TX community.
The hot dogs and ice cream were free...The parking was in the big
trees behind the Volunteer Fire Department (also free) and
the entertainment and Antique Tractor show were great.
This is the type of event that East Texas is known for with
neighbors and visitors all welcome and entertained. Here
are some pictures to give you an idea what a fun event it
was and to encourage you to check out Ben Wheeler for your
home or business. It is truly a piece of Americana!
Kids had a great time playing on this huge playscape brought in for the event
People of all ages enjoyed the fellowship of other country residents and visitors
It is hard to beat "Free" for some fun and good eating. That's something to celebrate!
